Beukeveld, . Arends, and A. Dijkstra); they recorded a demo and got the chance to handout an record record album on the little German label Shark in 1992. Titled The Christhunt, it did small commercially, and God Dethroned went on hiatus the following year, with Sattler forming a fresh mathematical group called Ministry of Terror. Following that band's 1994 album Fall of Life and a encouraging European spell, Sattler decided to reform God Dethroned with guitar player Jens, bassist Beef, and drummer Roel. This fresh lineup scored a carry on with Metal Blade, which issued The Grand Grimoire in late 1997; the record record album was released in the U.S. the next year and achieved a reasonable sum of airplay on college-radio metal shows. The Christhunt was reissued later that class with the cover art the band had earlier wanted (a dissected rat), and the official reexamination, Bloody Blasphemy, appeared in 1999. |
